Al Development & Decorating Co. was created by seasoned renovator and Interior Designer Anthea Lavender. After many of her own successful renovations, and taking out the title for HIA " Best Renovation of the Year", Anthea built the business to create affordable, beautiful, and meaningful homes for her clients across the Gold Coast and Brisbane area. Al Development & Decorating Co. has assisted countless clients in staging their homes for sale, styling their homes or holiday investments, executing small to large scale renovations, and providing guidance and consultation to those who may need a little push in the right direction.

Meet Anthea Lavender

Anthea Lavender, founder of Al Development & Decorating Co. is a local, Gold Coast-based interior decorator with a focus on home staging, styling, renovation and refreshing your space.

She is passionate about delivering timeless projects to transform your ideas into a meaningful and marketable abode. Her personalised service brings your concepts to life and will take the stress and uncertainty out of any project, large or small.
Anthea spent many years raising her three sons in this beautiful city and chose it as the perfect home base for her business, AL Development and Decorating Company.

Outside of work, Anthea splits her time between her passions which include art, travel, her family, and a good chat over a cup of coffee.

An artist herself, Anthea works with pastels, watercolours, and acrylic. Her creativity and innate understanding of colour theory is the ideal partner to her work selecting materials, finishes, and fabrics for your home or business redesign.Anthea is a vibrant personality who loves to work closely with her clients bouncing ideas back and forth. Her focus is on boutique, timeless designs that maximise functionality without sacrificing aesthetics.
